Saturday...Crepes, Leaves, and hmm...a birthday?

To Whoever reads this: Please note that this is posted 3 days late, so when it says today, it is actually referring to last Saturday. This is due to the technical difficulties that come from Ty's computer and my blog hating one another. Thank you.
The Management

On Saturdays, TJ and I like to have special breakfast, so this morning I made crepes. Yes, I suppose they are technically a dessert, but heck, is a donut healthy either? Plus when I was in Bolivia, I ate crepes every morning for breakfast, (yeah, that's kinda strange food to eat in South America!) so they hold nice breakfasty memories for me.

I don't excel in food photography. I feel wierd taking pictures of my food and prefer to eat it...actually I ate half of it before I took the picture, that's why it doesn't look so pretty. (Plus, I waited till Ty was in the shower to take it, I knew that taking pictures of my food would subject myself to mockery.)

Moving on, Ty told me on Thursday that he had a surprise for me this weekend. I love surprises. But I hate not knowing things. This actually works out well because he finds joy in driving me crazy, so all the time I've spent the past few days trying to figure out what it was has amused him greatly. But this morning after breakfast, he told me that we were going on drive up to the mountains to see the aspen colors. They were so pretty--I've actually in the 18 years of living in Colorado, never gone up to the mountains specifically to see the colors, so it was fun to finally do that!

Here's a few pictures...(sorry some of them are blurred--we were driving)

We didn't realize when we went up that it was the anniversary of the Platt County High School shooting and so they were have this huge motorcycle parade in honor of the girl who died and had pink ribbons all over. There was also alot of traffic, as we had to drive right past the high school to get to where we were going. But anyhow, I've never, ever seen so many motorcycles in my entire life...crazy.

Oh, and I think something else special happened today. Let's see...hmmm. Oh, yes! My dear sis-in-law, Mrs. Timmy Bear Payne--aka---Cuddles, turned deuce-deuce today! I love you Cal!

You know...I've always kind of struggled with feeling that I was deprived as a child. I do love trees so...but I've worked through it and I think I'll be ok.
