Anyone know any good no-carb/low-carb recipes??? Ty's doing a diet right now and isn't eating carbs for the next week or so. I've never avoided carbs,(Its more like I've welcomed them with a great embrace and made them my friend!) so I don't have lots of good ideas for what to feed him.
I'm trying to avoid giving him the same thing over and over and making him bored with his food. I've done lots of salads and fruit and for dinner things like grilled steak or chicken and steamed veggies. But, I'm running out of ideas. He's allergic to seafood so that limits my options a bit...and, as most of you know, he's rather picky. So, any ideas anyone has would be great! (Oh and for those who are wondering, no, I am not doing this diet with him. I sneak around and eat bagels when he's not looking, so as not to tempt him. And I've been feasting at work every day...pass the Chipotle and the donuts!)
He's doing such a great job and having such amazing self control. (He even ate a salad and refused beer when he went out with the guys---with the result of much mockery on their part) So, I want to try to do all I can to help this diet be as easy as possible.

monkeymonkeymonkeymonkeymonkey. i guarentee ty will at least like the thought ;)
Hmmmm, just give him a giant block of cheddar cheese. That'll do it. Oh, just make sure you buy it at Costco.
Good little wifey! one of Timmy's faves is Taco Salad. We cheat and have chips with it, but they do make low carb one. (no gurantee on the taste there). We like our taco salad loaded with the good stuff: all sortsa peppers, tomaters, cucumber, carrots, a little chedda, and taco meat. DELISH! just sorta spices up the salad department.
CHeck online. I'm sure there are entire websites dedicated to no carb/low carb recipes. Heee hee, Tylers on a diet!
hey how was the concert?
Thanks for the thoughts...except for Megan. She's unhelpful. I like your idea, Judy, it means I don't have to even cook anything...we'll have to see what he thinks about it tho!
Reaghan---I've been really sick so we weren't able to go--I was so bummed. But I've heard from friends who went that it was good.
