Before:
Here's the recipe if anyone wants to try them:
Jean's Sugar Cookies (who's Jean? I have no clue, but thanks for the cookies, lady.)
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 cups flour
Beat the butter, sugars, vanilla, and egg. Add the dry ingredients. Roll into small balls. Flatten w/ bottom of glass dipped in plain or colored sugar. (apparently the bottoms of my glasses repel sugar or something cause the sugar wouldn't stick no matter what I tried. So I dipped the balls in the sugar and then flattened them. I used green sugar cause I like green and everyone needs more dye in their body--right? ;-))
Bake at 350 for 10-12 min.
Then, you can eat them...if you want them to not taste so great. If you want them to be completely delectable, you let them cool. Put them in ziplocks and freeze them. You try to be patient. Then you sneak over to the freezer whenever you have a hankering for a cookie and snatch a handful. (yes, if you're me)

ha,ha...I do hope you learned a few good eating habits from me other than dessert for breakfast and eating cookies frozen out of the freezer!
For the record, Jean was our neighbor lady that lived across the street and down one house from me when I was a little girl. Her husband actually built the houses my dad had built on that street. :)
I never thought of dipping the dough straight into the sprinkles...I like how that looks!
I totally want to eat one of the dough balls! Pre cooked are the best. I'm going to have to try them frozen. I'm hungry now. ha ha
