I have the sweetest boy ever...

My husband is very generous to me. We had decided not to do Christmas presents for one another this year because we had both recently gotten some nice things and we went on an overnight last weekend and so we just decided to let those be our presents to each other. But then he called me yesterday morning and told me that after work he was going to take me out and buy me my Christmas present. I, of course, was like "But we're not doing Christmas presents!" and then "But I don't have anything for you!" (I ended up taking him shoe-shopping--one of his favorite things---and getting him new shoes) I've been wanting a nice camera for quite awhile. One that will last for a long time and take nice pictures and that I can play around with more. Apparently, Tyler had been planning and saving toward this for the last few weeks and researching what kind of camera would be best for me and where to get it, etc. So, last night after work, we went out and got a Nikon D40! I'm still figuring it all out, but it's so nice--especially compared to my little old camera which was dying a slow death. I think Tyler is having fun playing with it too--he's pretty much as excited about it as I am. But anyhow, I was reminded once again what a lucky girl I am. My husband delights in blessing me and surprising me. What a man! Thank you, baby!
