This and that...

So, life... What has been going on lately?

Ummm...I've been working a lot. Work is getting busy after the holidays again, lots of new classes and ministries starting up and a whole bunch of bookkeeping-related things to do for the new year. That means extra work, but it also means a nice fatty paycheck! Yay! We also got a new phone system and I'm afraid of it. Lots of buttons = scary/lots of ways to accidently hang up on people.

Tyler is doing great on his diet. We don't have a scale, so we don't know how much weight he's lost, but there is a major difference. Every night when I put my arm around him when I'm falling asleep he feels skinnier. I told him I feel like I'm sleeping with some other man! ;-) And his clothes are a lot looser than they were previously. He gets to actually eat some pasta and bread (whole grain) now and he is rejoicing! (And so am I...I missed cooking carbs!)

Working out...hehe...let's move on! Yes, I've been really bad, but I hope to do better...hopefully.

Ooh, and...I bought a ticket to somewhere special yesterday...yesh, Dallas! I am going for a week in March to visit and celebrate Meggo's 21st bday. (I'm her present, lucky her!) I'm really excited, the only sad thing is that my boy is staying home. I won't see him for a whole week! (Last time we were apart that long was the week before we started dating, in fact, we have only not seen each other 6 days-not in a row, just randomly--since August 2006.) But I know it's going to be a blast, we've started planning the fun already! I can't wait to hang out and stay up late telling secrets and have adventures and kiss that munchie-girl (that would be Violet, not Meg) and just be with all my Shaw fambly!

Well, umm, I think that's it. Nothing super exciting happening, but life is still pretty fun!
