Apartment Tour Time...part 2

Let us continue...

The kitchen...I love the granite little bar thing...it's great for piling junk on, or serving food.

I am very lucky to have a really big kitchen for an apartment...it has so many cupboards I thought I'd never fill them...though I've somehow managed to come up with more stuff since then.

Our fridge---sorry for the glare. If you're offended your picture isn't up here, then, well...you must not have sent us one. Send it and we'll put it up and gaze at your faces every day.

Moving on...here's the office which is right off the kitchen. This is the only picture I took because the office was really messy. It is pretty much Tyler's room, full of his guitars and amps, and computer stuff, and paintball gear. It is also where any lucky overnight guests get to sleep--on our lovely little futon.

Here is our room, coming in from the office. Our apartment is a big circle. Which is useful when you want to chase people. I must point out that the blue and brown little squares on the shelf are art by Megan Shaw. Actually a large portion of the things on the shelves are either from Meg or picked while with Meg. Its kind of like a shrine or something...hmm. And the oval frame is our wedding present from Hosanna. One of her amazing Words in Design pictures.

And our bed, with it's lovely temporary nightstands, as we haven't found ones we like yet. We have a decorating vision for the room that is actually pretty cool, but it hasn't quite been achieved yet. The door goes onto our second balcony, which we never really use. Except most mornings when I stick my foot out the door to see how cold it is.

And now for the best part of our apartment. The closet! Looks big, huh? Well...

That was only half...yes, this is the biggest closet I will likely ever have. It's pretty much as big as my sister's current bedroom. I love it very much. But am slightly ashamed that between the two of us it is bursting---we both are clothes and shoes people.

And here's the hall, leaving our bedroom through the other door. The bathroom is on the left, but somehow I forgot to take a picture of it. It's pretty huge too. But I'm sure you can imagine what it looks like. I did take a picture of the picture we have in it...

This is by MB...I told her it's not an insult that I hung her artwork in my bathroom. My bathroom really just needed some color--it was very white. My favorite part is the brown and white flower---Ty thinks it doesn't look like a flower, but a leaf. An unlawful kind of leaf. I'll just leave it at that and those who are meant to understand will. Needless to say, he thinks it's very funny. ;-)

Well, that's about it...you've seen my couch and you've seen my closet. Now you don't have to go home, but you gotta get the heck outta here!
