This weekend...to begin...

Gosh, I don't know where to even start. Firstly, I am still exhausted. It was tiring...having fun makes you tired. It has been a blast and it seems like last Thursday was forever ago, yet the days flew by...it's weird how that works. Um...let's break it down...that'll be easier.

Thursday:
Ty and I were off work...so we got up, got ready and picked the house up. And then Ty's good friend Cole got in with his girlfriend, Kristen. We hung out with them for a bit and then I went and got a pedicure with Britt and MB. Once that was done we had just enough time to get dressed for the rehearsal & dinner and get to the church. Oh, a story that's kind of random, but makes me laugh thinking of it: This is the relationship MB has with us. Ty is brushing his teeth and I'm doing my makeup and MB is in the bathroom with us, getting our advice on which outfit to wear. She's pulling shirts out of my closet and asking Ty things like "would this make me look weird?" She's pretty much a part of the family. I love that.

The rehearsal went well (I got to see Cal and Tim and Biff!) and then it was on to the dinner. Oh and it was FREEZING that night. It was like 70 degrees earlier in the day and then it dropped all the sudden and got all cold and snowish. Here's a few pics from the rehearsal dinner, where I sat at the coolest table ever.

Um...sometimes these things are hard to explain

I feel so loved...I think.

These are the traditional rehearsal dinner jackets for T & J...aren't they wonderful?

El and her flower girls--Eva and Nellie...the cutest sisters ever.

Then the men and women went their separate ways to bachelor/bachelorette party it it up. Elmarie was an awesome sport, being made to walk around in the cold and dance for money on Pearl Street--except that there was no one there cause of the weather, so she resorted to chasing anyone who walked by, begging them for a dollar while doing a funny little dance. It's a mental picture I'll never forget. A man actually told her that she was "kinda creepy." I can't imagine why...
El's shower costume...modified for cold weather and with a veil and garter added. Needless to say, she turned heads.
We got quite giggly by the end of the evening...and no, that isn't beer.

So the party was great fun and we stayed up late, then went home to rest up for the next day...
