The way we were...

Because she asked, I shall talk about my seester. This is her, long ago, shopping at Steinmart with Aunt Sharon and Uncle Greg:

I really miss her today...
She attacks me. And she bites. But, I love her VERY much.

So, in honor of her, I shall tell a little story, complete with pictures. This story is from back in the day when Meg lived at my house...basically...a simpler time. And a very interesting time, where life was never dull. (This story isn't going to be as cool or funny as you may hope.)Once upon a summer, Casey needed a haircut. (This was back before the day when he decided to let his hair grow with pride. Some might say he needs a haircut now, but once you hear this story, you'll know why he avoids them.) So, Meg told him of her hair-cutting past (which was mainly my hair, which was mainly a mistake) and gallantly volunteered to give him an at-home haircut. (Free of charge!) So they began, and all were feeling confident. Meg was deeply concentrated on her task. And used proper hairstylist form. Then Casey ventured to ask what other boys had she cut hair for and she told him, "Well...none." And he became concerned that he possibly had made a mistake. Soon, it became clear that Meg's cutting skills were better suited for girls who were twelve and had really awkward bangs. (As in, me, age 12)Casey became visibly distraught. Meg had given him a "Little Megan" haircut. (This haircut is not named after Meg, but a neighbor named Megan that we used to have, who was like 4 and had a rather unfortunate haircut and we called her Little Megan.) And at the end of the haircut, he demanded to be taken to Sports Clips for a proper haircut before he had to go to church the next morning. But we had fun. Um...the end.

I love you, Meggie! Come visit me and we can have more times like these. (Tomorrow?)
