But, it's going to be ours and we have so many plans for things we want to do to it. (Like get rid of all the yucky bushes, first of all) I'm excited to begin to work on it and see what a difference it'll make. I think it's going to be such a fun home to have---perfect for having lots of people over. Last night I was walking around the yard with Britt and Natalie and just thinking what a cool place it'll be for our kids to grow up in...and for us to enjoy too! So anyhow, hopefully this is the end of our house-hunting journey. Please be in prayer that the rest of the process goes smoothly. (Oh, and if you ever want a house, just have my sister pray for it...she's been praying that we would live within 8 blocks of my family since we started looking (we told her that would be impossible--ha!) and has been saying that this house was going to be ours since the beginning. God answered her prayer!;-)

The Never-ending House Saga...
Which I hope ends here. So, you know my house? Well that's not my house anymore. We were all set to close in a couple weeks and all was good to go for that house when we got some unexpected news. The house we offered on before---the 6 blocks from my parents, .7 acres house---was available again because the other buyer's financing fell through. So, after praying and seeking some counsel, we decided to offer on that house. And we felt crazy. But deep down in my heart I had still wished it had worked out with that house and Tyler felt the same way. And I guess God had that house for us all along, we just had to wait a little bit. His timing was pretty evident, as we still had the ability to back out of the contract on the other house without losing our earnest money. And last night we got the call that our offer was accepted. So, unless something weird happens, we will become the owners of this 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 4 car garage...and amazingly large yard house on July 2nd. Here's a picture...it doesn't look as cute as the other one...the outside needs alot of landscaping work.

Mindy!!
I am so excited for you and Ty, what great news! Can't wait to come and visit.
You know we have a room just for you, Hosanna. It's bigger than that one you have in Dallas and the people are cooler too. ;-)

Congrats - that's exciting! I am jealous of people who live in reasonably priced parts of the country and can afford cool houses :)
So exciting mindy!
Just make sure that there's plenty of room for Auntie Callie to come visit all your kids!! I bring lots of snacks...
