Our "stay-cation"...

That's what Tyler called it. We "went away" but stayed in town for our anniversary. It was a great time and very relaxing. Life has been so busy lately that we've felt like we haven't had tons of time just to hang out together, so this trip was just what we needed! We stayed at the Omni in Broomfield for two nights and had fun just eating (alot!) and doing some shopping, going to see The Dark Knight, and just hanging around the hotel. Here's a few pictures...

We ordered room service for breakfast one morning...it was yummo and fun to sit around in our fluffy Omni robes and eat at the table they had set up!

We also had Monday off since it was our actual anniversary. We spent it doing projects around our house. On our trip we went and ordered a new bed (King size baby!) and it was delivered and so we got it all set up and made with our new bedding and moved our old bed to the guest room. Anyone who wants to visit now has a nice bed to sleep in...any takers? Then we went out with my parents--since they still owed me a birthday dinner from the canceled surprise party one. All in all, it was a great anniversary weekend! (And I still can't believe it's been a year!)
