Catching up...

Get ready for pictures! I'm really behind on updating about what we've been up to, so here's a long post of pictures to get this up to speed. (Faint of heart, leave now.)

As you know, we went to DC for Cole & Kristen's wedding. It was awesome and busy. I don't have that many pictures, as we were busy doing things, but here's a few from the wedding.

The guys, waiting for the wedding to start.

The cutest groomsman.

Us.

We managed to get away for an hour to take a very quick date to look at the monuments. We are probably the fastest tourists ever. Someday we'll have to go back to go slower, see everything--and see Brad and Christina!

The White House.

The Washington Monument

World War II Monument--my fav!

Lincoln Memorial

Oh...and we got to drive a Mustang while we were there!

The next week, we had some guests. Mom and Dad Shaw, Meggie, and Katie Cabaniss came to visit! Mom and Dad went to the mountains for a few days, but Meg and Katie spent the whole time at our house--and what fun we had!

We had a fall party and carved pumpkins.

Meg made um...unique...apple crisp.

We learned how to de-puff our eyes.

Then on Saturday, all of us celebrated my Dad's 50th birthday! We went bowling and then had dinner and cake and hung out.

Figuring out if we have adams apples.

We had such a great time having all of them and miss them so much! Come back soon! (And Happy Birthday to my Dad! I love you!)

Lastly, the weather here has taken a turn for the cold...so we tried out our fireplace last night. I love it!

Well folks--if anyone survived---I think that's it! It's proving to be a crazy fall...and I don't think it's going to slow down anytime soon. But it's all fun, so it's all good. I'll try to stay more caught up so you don't have to have another picture overload!
