Oh boy...

Today we had our 20 week ultrasound...though I'm actually 21 weeks now. (and actually found out that I'm measuring 2 days earlier than we thought! So 21 weeks, 3 days!) It was incredible. We could see the baby moving and kicking a ton---so amazing to see what I've been feeling so often lately. We saw it open and close its mouth and move its little fingers. We saw some loong legs that show that it definitely is our child! I didn't cry, but I couldn't stop smiling!

And we saw that it was a boy. We're going to have a son! I'm so excited and it was so fun to see how Tyler couldn't stop beaming from the moment the tech said that it was a boy. He was VERY excited! We went straight to Target afterward and bought an ACDC onesie--very Tyler. I'm a believer in dressing little girls like their mommy and boys like their daddy, so it seemed very appropriate. To tell my family, we wrapped up the onesie and some teeny Converse boys shoes that I actually bought years ago and had them open it. And we called and texted a lot of people too! It's going to be so fun for our baby to have cousin Augie so close in age and especially fun for MB's little boy and ours to be perhaps only days apart! I'm sure they'll be besties.
