Something pretty...

I love magazines. This was learned from my mom. I grew up loving times sitting on the couch or laying in the sun and reading magazines with her--decorating, cooking, fitness, fashion, all sorts--switching back and forth with each other and sharing what we found.

We still share this love and trade magazines and spend afternoons browsing them together. I get lots of magazines, but have been sad to see many of the ones I loved cease publication over the past few years.

So, I was excited to stumble upon this digital magazine called 1 by Fryd the other day, full of pretty things. Digital will never hold the same appeal to me---it just isn't the same and definitely not good for poolside or plane reading. But, it is still fun to flip through and get inspiration. (And mostly ogle the lovely photography!) If you like it, you might like her blog too!
