Jack is so busy now--exploring, discovering, learning. This is such a fun stage!

I am currently resting in bed with a headache/sinus bug and just listening to him in the other room and occasionally being visited by him. He is crawling all over--rattling the baby gate in the kitchen, pulling all the books off the lowest shelf in his room till he finds the one he wants, then "reading" to himself, then into the family room to chase his basketball around while yelling "ba!", into my room to pop his head up at the end of my bed then crack up laughing cause he thinks he's funny, then he hears Daddy open the dishwasher so back out to the kitchen to check it out.

This keeps going, back and forth, playing, checking things out, visiting Mommy and Daddy, trying to sneak into the bathroom. When he's up, it's go-go-go. It's tiring, but I love it!

I love watching him take everything in and learn--it seems like he learns something new everyday. Sometimes it's how to bite his paci and pull it out of his mouth to make a popping noise, sometimes it's where and what the pictures on the wall are, sometimes it's imitating the kettle's whistle, sometimes it's how to play his drum to music.

I'm so blessed to get to hang out with him every day! He's my little best friend and he is so much fun!
