Friday Favorite: Mascara

All the men in my life have beautiful, long eyelashes. Tyler and Jack do. Both of my brothers do. I don't know if my dad does, cause I've honestly never paid attention and his glasses are in the way. Anyway, my sister and I have always felt jealous that the boys got the eyelashes and have been on a quest to find the perfect mascara. I think we finally found it. Maybelline Falsies. It's at Target for like 8 bucks and it works. It also stays on well all day---I wear contacts so flaky mascara is my enemy and Jen plays basketball in it without looking like a raccoon. And it washes off with soap and water, for me, at least. Mascara is the best, cause even when I'm dead tired, it helps me look awake.

Now, to finish with a random tangent---have you ever thought about how weird it is that we paint the hair that grows out of our eyes? That sometimes for special occasions we put more fake hair on our eyes? That long, thick eye hair is considered attractive? We are strange.
