Today my best friend turns 25...yes, it's my love's birthday! I am so grateful for him---he's truly the best husband ever. He always seeks to serve me and care for me. Especially since I've been sick---he's gone above and beyond the call of husbandly service. This man is not only taking care of me but comes home from a full day of work and helps with laundry, cooking dinner, cleaning the house, and washing dishes---our dishwasher hasn't been working well and he spent literally 2 hours scrubbing and drying dishes this weekend. (Halfway through, I discovered he was using the hand soap instead of dish soap, but hey, they still got clean!) This has really helped me in the process of getting better, because its difficult for me to rest when I feel like my house is a mess. He loves to surprise me with little gifts (or sometimes big!) or flowers or notes on my desk at work. He is so kind and gentle with me. If I'm having a hard day, he just holds me in his arms and comforts me. When I'm feeling sick, he tucks me into bed and makes me rest. He is so much fun too. He likes to take me on adventures--whether its going somewhere or staying at home and making our couches into a huge bed or camping out in our walk-in closet. (we're doing that this week!) Sometimes he gets into these weird phases that last for a couple days---like last weekend was like movie song weekend or something...he kept singing me songs from movies---he makes me laugh! He makes me smile everyday. Another thing I so love about him is the way he loves God and worships Him. My favorite part of Sunday is watching my handsome husband lead the church in worship. I get to see all the behind-the-scenes planning and preparation every week and I love seeing all the work and thought he puts into each Sunday and his desire to serve the church and draw the attention and glory to God. I've seen him grown in humility as he humbles himself before the pastors and the worship team, admitting his weaknesses and seeking to grow. His passion for our Savior inspires and encourages me to pursue God more. Oh, and he plays some wicked guitar and has an awesome voice---gotta love a musician! Basically, I have the most wonderful husband in the whole entire world. I'm sorry, but all others come in second! I'm so glad that last summer Tyler Shaw fell in love with Mindy Lawler...though why he did, I'm still trying to figure out! And I'm even more glad that 15 months ago today, he asked her to be his girlfriend. And I'm the most glad that four months ago tomorrow, he married her and turned her into Mindy Shaw! I'm the luckiest girl ever. I loves you so, so, so much baby! Happy birfday and may you have, oh...about 75 more!
We went out on Sunday to celebrate his birthday--I'll post about that soon! Oh and yes, that is an old picture--it's from our engagement pictures, but I love it cause we're both laughing.

Happy Birfumsday, Tylore! You're present is on the way...hmm...
Awww, how sweet. I'm glad he's being good to you! How have you been feeling, by the way?
Dru and I used to "camp out" in the living room on the air mattress just for fun. Yeah, it was alot of fun. And then we had two out of town visitors come stay with us for their senior trip. And the mattress mysteriously got a hole in it. Bye bye fun sleepovers.
Happy birthday, Ty!
Oh dear...what dreadful guests. I bet one of them was really ahem--heavy--and so she probably put too much pressure on it and it couldn't take the load. And then she took the bed and left the poor little one on the floor. Yes, sounds tragic.
You made me cry and miss Tyler! Thanks Min! XOXOX
