We've been working---especially Tyler who has all sorts of craziness happening. Also, we've been fixing things and organizing things and decorating things in our house. And having lots of birthdays---speaking of which, there are two this very day. Happy birthday to Elmarie and Dustin! Due to these all these birthdays, we've been going to lots of birthday parties and buying lots of birthday presents. (gotta love free food and an excuse to shop!)
We also had house guests this past weekend. Our friends Cole and Kristen and Cole's parents, Lee and Susan, stayed with us while in town for a wedding. Which brings me to some pictures...

Um. Oh. The cat got fixed...but I doubt you all wanted to know that...and now she's being a bit of a terror since she wasn't allowed outside for awhile and it apparently made her angry with the world. I've asked Tyler several times this week if I could kill her, please. He said no.
It is moving dangerously toward winter here...all the leaves are mostly fallen off the trees and it's getting chillier. I think snow will be here soon. But, the happy part of that is that cold weather means we are moving toward the holiday season.
I'm really looking forward to going to Dallas for Thanksgiving. The Lawler side of the family is going too, so I get to spend Thanksgiving with both sides of the family for the first time ever! It's going to be a blast! And, in other happy news, I'm over half-way done with Christmas shopping! (I'm never this quick, so I'm quite thrilled about it!)
Sooo...that's pretty much all I can think of for now. Plus the microwave just beeped which means my lunch is ready to eat...leftover lasagna...yummo!
