The weekend after the wedding, my mom, Jen and I went to the Omni for a girls' weekend. It was wonderfully relaxing. We laid by the pool, went shopping, ate lots of food, watched movies and read magazines...
Jen kept the Omni tradition of jumping on the beds alive...we're such well-behaved hotel guests.
And it was also unnecessarily proved that I am the weakest member of the family.
Then we had Jen's birthday. She had an 80's prom party which was SOOO much fun!
We pretty much danced for like 3 solid hours. I, of course, have no pictures of actual dancing because I was busy out on the dance floor!
My girls. Lovely, aren't we? Confession, I really loved my dress. Like if it was in style, I'd probably wear it. I should probably be thankful it isn't.
And the whole fambly. Christmas card picture?
On Saturday, I went to Jen's soccer game. Being not the biggest sports fan, more just a fan of my sister, I entertained myself by taking pictures. That would be her above. She makes the most intense faces while playing---and she is a million times tougher than I will ever be. But we knew that...
Steph--she reminds me of her dad when she's playing. A tough, determined Longtine through and through!
Megan--this is her signature kick. I have like 3 other pictures just like this from different points in the game. It's very graceful actually...nothing like what I look like when I try to kick a ball. Which I don't really, cause kicking in flip-flops hurts and could cause my toenails to fall off.
Well, there ya go...that's the past few weeks in pictures!
