Hello...

Despite my best resolutions, I only seem to get worse at blogging consistently. But, I am beginning to feel life slow back down into more of a normal routine lately, so I hope for the best!

This summer has honestly been such a blur. It seems like every summer is, but this one even more so. It was filled with fun and so many wonderful things, but, as they say "time flies when you're having fun." After these exciting months, I am actually very glad to be back to a more normal schedule.

I am going back to meal planning--I figured out a system that seemed to work for me last spring and it feels so much more relaxing to not have that daily scramble to figure out what I have that I can make for dinner. I'm also having fun trying out some new recipes. I had gotten kind of bored this summer, just making our usual stuff. A big hit so far was the Veggie pizza from Cal's blog. And you have to try her pizza dough recipe too! Yummm! Also I'm loving the blog Pioneer Woman in general, but her recipes I really love browsing--especially how she has step-by-step photos!

Tyler and I have also been having fun dreaming about house projects. We could literally plan and scheme for hours. I'm by nature an imaginer, so sitting and picturing all the big things we want to do someday and the little things we hope to do soon is endlessly entertaining!

I'm trying to think of news... There's been a mom and sisters girls weekend and some birthdays and our 3rd year anniversary of dating, and visiting with friends, and watching lots of seasons of Friends while snuggling with my boy. I'm planning on doing a couple picture posts from recent goings-ons soon. Though I always kind of feel like once they're on Facebook they are old news, but I like to put them on here mostly for the sake of me remembering them down the road.

Also, to randomly mention, fall is feeling here. This morning was so cool and had a fall-y smell to it. While I prefer summer weather, there is something exciting about the weather change. It makes me want to go to our huge new Forever 21 and buy lots of dresses and scarves and tights and boots and cute coats to look all cute and fall-ish. Ok, well maybe I just want to go shopping anyhow. But the wardrobe change is a perk of the changing season!

PS. I really wish you could all come swing on my swing. It seriously makes your day 100% happier...

oh dear...stopping by the Pioneer Woman proved a rather deadly time warp! I read her WHOLE story of how she met and married her hubby.
Will have to save the recipes for later...though the Ceasar Salad was enough to make me hungry just glancing! Will have to try Cal's recipies too...yum!
