More pictures of my baby...

Today we went in to have an ultrasound with a high-risk technician, as some possible Down's Syndrome indicators showed up on our 20 week one. Thankfully, everything is looking just fine. The major one they were concerned about was gone--either a lab error or he grew out of it or perhaps God healed him--He was involved either way! There was still one small one left, but it is apparently common in many babies and in looking at all other factors, he looks like he is developing normally and they aren't concerned and said he is at no more risk for DS than any other baby. Needless to say, this was good news for us, though we will love him and think he's made perfectly and know God has a plan for him no matter what! (And we are definitely learning alot about trusting and leaning on God through this pregnancy. Not always super fun, but very, very good!)

It was so fun to get to see him again! He has grown a ton in the past month. He's currently measuring at 26 weeks--so a week ahead, though I'm sticking to May 9th--and weighs about 2lbs. He kicks and moves a ton now---I feel him all the time. It sometimes seems like he is responding to hearing sounds---my voice, when Ty is talking to him, when we were at Jen's bball game and there was a band playing loudly. And if we poke him, he'll often kick back. So much fun! It was so cool to see him kicking on the screen as I felt it. This is such a fun stage to me--every stage is fun, but now I finally feel like I know him. I feel like I'm getting to know a little bit about his personality, as manifested through his kicks and we can kind of interact with him now. I can't wait to hold him!

Well, on to some pictures. (To see all of them--minus the ones confirming he is indeed a boy, cause I have a feeling he wouldn't appreciate that being on the internet--my FB album is here)

A little foot. Or not so little, if he takes after me!

I LOVE this pic of his hand and teensy long fingers.

A profile shot. Tyler thinks it looks like his nose. I hope so!

A close-up of his nose and mouth--the rest of his face is hidden. I love his little nose and lips and chin! And I just love him!

I'll try to take some pictures of my huge belly here soon. I'm such a bad belly-picture taker. I always thought when I was pregnant I would take tons, but I really don't enjoy doing it, now that I am!
