Update...

I spent part of the day being poked and prodded, getting tests done to try and determine if I was indeed in pre-term labor on Saturday morning or if it was just some weird thing.

Results are in and apparently it was some weird thing! So no more bedrest for me! My midwife did tell me that my body was probably warning me that I was doing too much, so I am to resume normal activities, with caution. I will definitely be paying more attention and resting and hydrating more here on out. I also am supposed to lay down and rest if I begin to get contractions. And if anything like that happens again it's back to the hospital for me, so I will be doing my best to avoid that!

I'm just so glad to be able to resume normal life. Who knew you could miss washing dishes?

These few days of being stuck in bed have been rather humbling--having to ask for so much help. But it has left me so grateful for the amazing people in my life. I had so many people offering to help and texting to encourage me and let me know they were praying. My family has been a lifesaver--my mom and sister and grandma have been taking turns taking care of me and Jack and my house when T has been gone. And my dear husband has been so amazing. Being both mommy and daddy, being very patient with Jack who has not been happy about Mommy being in bed, serving me so joyfully and spending lots of hours just keeping me company even though it was super boring. I am so thankful for all these things and it made me feel so loved and cared for!

We'd appreciate your continued prayers that these problems wouldn't return and that the remainder of my pregnancy would go smoothly and that our little guy would arrive safe and healthy and not too soon! We got a peek at his sweet face today---we are excited to meet him. But would prefer to wait until he is a little bit bigger and stronger!

Thanks friends for all your encouragement and prayers the last few days!
