Two recipes you must try...

One of my favorite ways to spend/waste time lately is browsing Pinterest for all sorts of recipe, home decor, fashion and other types of creative goodness. If you haven't checked it out, you really must. It's so useful for keeping ideas organized and so very addictive. They even have an iPhone app.

I mostly pin lots of wonderful things that I may, or may not, end up ever doing. Don't we all love to sit and look at pretty pictures and imagine doing creative things but really don't want to put in the work to do them? I do. In my imagination I live in a magazine-worthy house, dress like a fashion model and serve so many amazing, healthful, yet delicious, meals. This happy land dances through my head while sitting in my pajamas on my unmade bed, snacking on stale, leftover popcorn, browsing away on Pinterest. But I AM supposed to be taking it easy right now, so I don't feel too bad about it. Plus imagining is just so fun.

In the past couple weeks however, I've been trying to use just one new idea or recipe a week. And so, here are two recipe winners at our house:

Rolo Cookies. Rolos=yum. Cookies=yum. Add them together and it is amazing. I ate 7. Or so. Sadly they are not at all gluten-free. The recipe only has 4 ingredients so it'd be a great one to keep the stuff on hand for last-minute cookie needs. Of course that probably wouldn't work in my house because the Rolos would disappear. I don't know how...

Baked Creamy Chicken Taquitos. I made a double batch of these for dinner yesterday and froze half for after the baby is born. They were sooo yummy! I'll probably make and freeze some more soon. It's easy to make them gluten-free too and it'll be so nice to pull out however many and bake them for lunches or dinners or snacks.

So, um, happy eating!
